Philly Chef Stan

Stanley Pliszka, a Philadelphia native. Started in the kitchen as a child thanks to his mother’s love for family meals and entertainment. Stanley has been cooking and working professionally in kitchens for over 20 years. He started as a line cook at J Street Cafe a local gastro pub, where his passion for cooking quickly grew. With immediately knowing, this was only the beginning. After spending several years in this position, Stanley moved on securing a restaurant manager position at Morrone's a well knew seafood restaurant. After managing and running their kitchen for five plus years. He learned his next position, would have to allow him the opportunity to display creativity, with flavors and love for trendy eats. Currently the head chef at local eater the Hinge Cafe. Stanley has played a vital part in growing this small quaint cafe into a 20 plus table, staple within Port Richmond. He has also led dozens of cooking demonstrations, with even being featured on the 6abc local show FYI Philly for his breakfast bruschetta.
