Created by Anastassia Vertjanova and Annemarie Branco. We invite audience members to come earlier to hang out and explore the gallery.

Inspired by Ilya Kabakov’s visual art installation “The Man Who Flew Into Space From His Apartment”, Theatre and Installation Art combine into a show for anyone who has ever looked up at the night sky and felt the incomprehensible need to go. Introducing First and Foremost, our incredible Creator/Director, Anastassia Vertjanova. Anastassia is a director and multi-media artist who celebrates manufactured magic and chaotic spontaneity. Did we make a mess and tickle your imagination? Are you delighted? Success! She can often be found covered in paint. Her work has been seen previously in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, The New York Theatre SummerFest, Philadelphia Theatre Week, Philadelphia Women's Theatre Festival, and Rabbit Punch Festival. She graduated from the University of the Arts with honors and studied through the National Theatre Institute at the Moscow Art Theatre.

Did you know this show is entirely produced via Crowdfunding? We are so happy to be working with to fund our production where we try to take abstract scientific concepts, and break them down through visual and performing arts.

Throwback to our review from the 2021 Performance of Unorthodox Methods of Cosmic Flight! Thank you again to the Broad Street Review for taking the time to come out to our little slice of the cosmos and for having such nice things to say about it ✨

Philly Fringe 2021: Anastassia Vertjanova presents Unorthodox Methods… Unorthodox Methods is a loud, stimulating exploration in singlehanded accomplishments. Through humor, it explores ideas of lineage, work vs play, and when to accept help from others. Corey Qureshi reviews.
