Every year, we come back to where it all began.
Philly! The birthplace of the United States Army.
251 years later… and we’re still showing up.
Last year’s 250 was historic.
This year? It’s about tradition. Legacy. Consistency.
Because honoring the Army’s birthday here isn’t a one-time event.
It’s something we do. Every year.
From 1775 to now, the mission, the people, the pride, it all traces back to this city.
And we’ll keep showing up to celebrate it. 🇺🇸

Yesterday, we had the honor of standing alongside our community to recognize and remember our Vietnam Veterans.
At the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial, we gathered to reflect on the service, sacrifice, and resilience of those who answered the call during a defining time in our nation’s history.
More than 58,000 Americans gave their lives in Vietnam. Yesterday was not only a moment of remembrance, but also a moment to say what should have always been said:
Welcome home.
AUSA Philadelphia is proud to support and stand with the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial Society and our local veteran community to ensure these heroes are honored, remembered, and never forgotten.
