I recently had the opportunity to meet with the PA Hardwood Council and find out about trees, wood products and how they impact our state.

Trees are super important! In addition to providing oxygen for us to breath, in Pennsylvania wood products are big business, employing more than 60,000 people and contributing more than $39 BILLION to our state economy.

Today I was thrilled to welcome my guy Gov. Josh Shapiro to West Philly to talk about a law we passed that’s putting close to $200 million back in the pockets of nearly 950,000 working people here in Pennsylvania.
