Pine and Moon Rabbitry

Sweet Emma passed away today. 😭💔

She showed absolutely no signs that anything was wrong. She was acting completely normal this morning, had a full little belly, and looked healthy and happy.

Because there were no warning signs, my best guess is that she may have had some kind of congenital defect or underlying issue that we simply couldn’t see.

Sometimes, despite doing everything right, bad things just happen.

I’m especially sorry to anyone who had their eye on her. She was such a precious little girl and had already stolen a lot of hearts. 💔

One of the hardest realities of raising animals is that loss is part of it. Whether it’s rabbits, livestock, or any breeding program, there are moments that remind us how fragile they can be... 😔

In the Rabbit world people have a saying… Never pick your favorite, because that’s the one you’ll lose…

I was about 98% sure he was a Blue Tort and he was!  I have yet to come across one in my litters - so now I think I’m gonna have to do a repeat breed 😂😂🥹🥹🥹.

Reservations will open SATURDAY 13 June - at 7 PM EST. The post will include our Cash App and Venmo information, but both payment methods are also listed in our FAQ post if you’d like to save them ahead of time.

🤎 🤎The price of each Rabbit is located on each flyer which are in the post below 🐰🐰

To reserve a rabbit, please send the deposit with the rabbit’s name included in the payment notes. Reservations are first come, first served based on payment timestamp.

‼️✨To help make the process smoother, you are also welcome to include a backup rabbit choice. If your first choice has already been reserved, I can move to your backup choice instead of refunding and restarting the process.

As rabbits are reserved, their photos will be removed from the post to help keep availability updated. If multiple deposits are sent for the same rabbit, the first payment received will secure the reservation and any additional deposits will be refunded immediately.

Once your reservation is confirmed, the reservation form linked in this post (first pinned comment) will need to be signed.
