Stillwater Milling Company - Perry Location

There is nothing we love more than a little bit of history! We snagged these pieces at a local estate sale, and I felt like it was share worthy.

Thomas & Plummer Perfection Mills, established in 1891 was the ancestor to Stillwater Milling Company’s A&M Feeds. Andy & Mandy Goodholm purchased the mill and incorporated a line of home flour products called “Good Home Flour” in 1918.

The mill continued to make Good Home Flour & feed until 1957, when the focus shifted wholly to livestock feeds.

In the 1930’s-1960’s the need to be as thrifty as possible led to companies printing embroidery and cross stitch patterns being printed on the bags of flour sacks to allow them to not only provide a project, but also an easy use item in the kitchen.

These will join our collection in both our main office and our store 🖤
