Teaching a CPR class today for some good friends.
I have been asked to teach a CPR class and am in need of a bilingual SPANISH speaking second instructor. You do not need to be an instructor to teach with me. You do need to be an EMT at minimum.
Class is most likely going to be on a Saturday in White Marsh area. Please contact me if you are interested.
Thank you.

Why Your Workplace Should Have an AED
Contact us today for training and pricing of your new AED unit.
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is an electronic device designed to deliver an electric shock to a victim experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. . Ventricular fibrillation, the uncoordinated beating of the heart — which can lead to collapse and death — may be corrected to a normal rhythm up to 60 percent of the time, when treated quickly with an AED. This is referred to as defibrillation.
According to OSHA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, approximately 890 deaths from coronary heart disease occur outside of the hospital or emergency room every day. Most are due to cardiac arrest. Each year thousands of deaths occur in the workplace, the leading cause of which is heart attack and cardiac arrest. Many of these deaths could be prevented if an AED was available.
An AED in the workplace can provide the critical, timely and necessary treatment that could save a life, if someone in your organization were experiencing a cardiac arrest. AED’s are easy to use. According to an article this month in Bizjournals.com, in mock cardiac arrest situations, untrained sixth grade students were able to use an AED without difficulty.

???? Question ????
I need your feedback. Please comment below
Due to the 800% increase in cost for Heart Saver AED, First Aid, and CPR cards there will be a $20 surcharge associated with each student per class.
This increase in cost is coming from the American Heart Association.
Due to the increase in price per card my training center is also an ASHI training center and has a basic class that they can offer. For those that need a basic CPR class and first aid would you rather stick with AHA or switch to an ASHI class at a reduced cost?
