Thanks so much to everyone who came out for the Town Wide Clean Up today! 34 people picked up 40 bags of trash!

Town Council was well-represented with Mayor Frank Crenshaw and Council Members Lyn Merchant, Vince Gaulin, and Mike Seef pitching in.

Several businesses and organizations also showed up to help, including the Pendleton Branch Library, United Community Bank, and Two What Knots. An amazing snack spread was provided by the Library.

And, of course, we could not do these clean up days without the individuals and families who came out. Thank you, thank you!

If we missed thanking anyone, please help us correct the error. And, if you missed the clean up but would like to help another time, we can always provide you with supplies and suggestions for a route.

They picked up 21 bags of trash around Barrett's Place Park and Veteran’s Park on Tuesday, May 23.

A big THANK YOU to the 41 people who came out for the Town Clean Up! Together they picked up 69 bags of trash!!!

A lot of individuals, including representatives from First Baptist Church of Pendleton, Pendleton Rhinos, and Town of Pendleton Municipal Complex, South Carolina, came together to make this clean up happen.

Special thanks to Town Council Members Lyn Merchant and Vince Gaulin and Mayor Frank Crenshaw for coming out and serving the town in this capacity.
Edited to add: Steve Miller, Town Administrator, also came out to help, and his time is much appreciated!

Pendleton is beautiful even in the rain!

Hoping for a dry afternoon on Saturday, so we can pick up lots of the litter near our streets and sidewalks.

WHAT: Town Wide Clean Up

WHERE: start on Village Green

WHEN: Saturday, March 25 between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.

WHY: Because we love our town!

Who would be interested in a Green Friday event?

In the past, we have held a litter clean up event on the day after Thanksgiving. It sometimes has included an optional meditation and bike ride in addition to walking around town and picking up litter.

So far, we have reports from Nancy, Kathy, and Powell who picked up a total of 10 bags.
