What an amazing day in RobotX! Our teams really gave it all today! 100% of our teams made it to the Quarterfinals! 5 teams made it to the Semifinals, and 4 teams went head-to-head in the finals! Here is a list of our awards for today:

My teacher mentor, James Fox, always said “Trophies are earned during practice and just picked up during competition.” These students earned these awards with their hard work over the last 12 weeks and just showed their work today! Congratulations to all!

6th Grade had a great day today ranking higher than they did at the last tournament! We now have some time to work and perfect our craft! Our next competition is in January!

This year we welcome back our 6th grade RobotX teams! We are competing today at Hughes Academy! Good luck to 29651A, The Bwad Bwiudas; 29651B, Bad Botz Whatcha Gonna Do; and 29651C, Dragon Crusaders!

Our final VRC team is 29651Z, “The Zpiderz” This new team has never competed before and is excited to experience Robotics in competition form. They were leading builders and coders last year in Class Robotics! Cheer on our Zpiderz as they weave their web into the robotics season!

Today’s featured team is 29651W, “The Wistickle Wizərds” As a returning team, The Wistickle Wizərds draw from last year’s experience winning several awards and competing in the SC Vex State Competition! They hope to again compete at the state competition and maybe even Worlds! Good luck to The Wistickle Wizərds!
