This Monday at , I attended the first “Thank Geeky, It’s Monday”, the first comedy showcase at with the incredible lineup of and hosted by 🎭

This is one of the best comedy showcases I’ve seen in a long time, and it’s fun that all the comedians needed to roll a die to determine when they perform in the show 🎲

It was so successful they plan to do another one next month!

🎭Last night attended the ‘s Next Stage salon at the not knowing who was going to be there but ran into several friends in the immersive space!

💥Not literally run into them (because it wasn’t THAT kind of experience) but it was a well-attended event for a 2nd salon gathering and I got to meet multiple creators ranging from experimental show creators, Disney Imagineers, game developers, and interaction designers!

🧠We got very nerdy into examining how to make experiences accessible to guests, the onboarding process, discussion about play with the roundtable and in breakout groups.

🪭Really fascinating minds on the fresh edge of entertainment along with cool creative vibes.

This last week was a bunch of theatrical roleplay!

Last week, had a great time with at with DM and 🎲

Then also attended the production of “Roguelike Rumbles” at the with Sarah in the DM chair with !

I am so excited to play in a theatre () to raise money for the , but to also roleplay with this group consisting of:

🤼‍♂️ A pair of goliath paladins who are super into wrestling
💎A rogue who’s not afraid to take the gold from your shoes
🎭An ambitious playwright who’s learned nothing from his failed shows (me!)
And a Dungeon Master who has to corral these cats in one show!

presents a game this Saturday where we get to interact with the audience!

After all, my “College of Eloquenz” playwright is gonna need some prompts 😜

This weekend, I was invited by to speak at the Storytelling Across Media event at the with & !

I didn’t even know there was a Comic Con Museum in San Diego! I also didn’t know there’s a whole park in San Diego that’s just dedicated to museums!

And just before the museum closed, a bunch of us just ran through the absolutely huge exhibition. Every time we turned the corner, we kept saying, “Wait, there’s more?”

Had an absolute blast 💥

I was honored that all the guests came as a character from something I’ve worked on or attended and it really made this moment magical to have them all meet in one place!

And there were actual crowns 👑 and a throne 💺!

It truly was the best birthday ever 💜

Congratulations to my dear friends & on their beautiful wedding ceremony this weekend!

But to my surprise, I get to see so many of my friends that I haven’t seen in years, all fabulously attired!
