Next up, say hello to Vibha!
Vibha is currently a senior at Caltech majoring in computer science. She is currently the treasurer and secretary of Robogals Caltech. She has been involved with Robogals since her sophomore year. Her favorite workshop is the Lego Mindstorms because it’s an intuitive way to understand the logic behind programming while making a robot move!
At her previous engineering internships, she’s seen firsthand how few women there are in industry, so she hopes to make a difference while volunteering with Robogals. While this is her last year volunteering with Robogals Caltech, Vibha hopes to continue volunteering for local communities when she moves to Seattle next year to work for Amazon Web Services.
In her free time, Vibha likes to read and hike.

Happy 2020 everyone! The next member of our team that we would like to introduce is Sanjana:
Sanjana is a junior majoring in bioengineering, originally from South Bend, IN. Sanjana enjoys teaching young students about various topics in STEM and current events, and she tutors Pasadena high school students in math and science subjects once a week. She has been a member of Robogals for 2 years, and she enjoys discussing new workshops with parents and teachers to expand kids' experiences with the club.

With the holidays around the corner, we would like to introduce the members of our team this year and tell you about all the great work they are doing, both outside and with Robogals! Stay tuned for details about our workshops this past term!
First up, meet Miranda!
Miranda Schwacke is currently a senior at Caltech, majoring in Materials Science. She has been involved with Robogals since beginning to volunteer at workshops as a freshman and is now the president of the Caltech chapter. Her favorite workshop is the NXT Mindstorms robotics workshop because it reminds her of her own experiences using NXT robots in elementary school which helped to inspire her to study science and engineering. Miranda is originally from Charleston, South Carolina and also enjoys baking, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her friends, family, and two dogs.
