Please join us in congratulating Poyan Lam, recipient of the 2026 Helen Morran-Wolf Educational Scholarship. As the first person in her family to attend college in the United States, Poyan is pursuing a degree in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University with the goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.

We are proud to share the impact of our 2025–2026 Dance Workshops program! 💃🕺

Through 26 workshops, we served 1,256 students across 7 schools, helping young people build confidence, creativity, and connection through dance.

Home visitors play a vital role in supporting families during pregnancy, early childhood, and beyond. Providing guidance, resources, and encouragement during some of life’s most important moments. Thank you to the City of Pomona for recognizing the impact of home visiting programs and helping raise awareness of the essential services that strengthen children, families, and communities. Together, we are building healthier futures for every child and family we serve. 💚

Building connections and supporting student well-being! 🤎✨ Foothill Family therapist Victor Gonzalez Vera represented our organization at an outreach event at El Monte High School, sharing resources and information about mental health services with students and families. We’re grateful for opportunities to connect with our community and help make support more accessible.

Staff Spotlight: Edna Macias 🫶🤎✨

At Foothill Family, our people are at the heart of the work we do. Meet Edna Macias, Nurturing Connections Program Supervisor, whose journey at Foothill Family reflects growth, compassion, and commitment to community. Starting as an Intake Coordinator and now leading a new program, Edna shares that what she loves most is Foothill Family’s dedication to serving everyone  “from children at birth up until adults… nobody gets left behind.”

Her advice to those beginning their journey at Foothill Family: take care of yourself and lean on the incredible support system around you. “We have a great support system here at Foothill Family, so reach out as much as possible when you need support.” Edna stays motivated by the people she serves and the impact our programs create every day. “I stay motivated knowing that we are helping them in some capacity, especially when we hear success stories.” Thank you, Edna, for your leadership, heart, and dedication to uplifting our community every day! ✨🤎🫶

Today’s TFS graduation was a beautiful reminder of what happens when determination, support, and heart come together. To our graduates: we are so proud of you and all the growth that brought you here. To our staff: thank you for cheering them on, believing in them, and walking alongside them every step of the way.
