Summer has just started and we are launching our FREE 6 week Light Bringer Project Art Program at Jackie Robinson Community Center☀️ Room 13 provides a safe space for students to creativity express themselves with the guidance of an Artist in Residence 🎨 This year we are joined by Val Medina and she cannot wait to make art with students 🌸

Fire-impacted artists, we have resources for you!

Meet us at the Eaton Fire Collaboratory at 540 W Woodbury Road, Altadena CA this Saturday, May 30th from 10am - 5pm for free materials, workshops, art activities, mental health resources, and legal resources.

Creative Workers Rising is at the Eaton Fire Collaboratory this Saturday! We need hands to serve fire-impacted artists. Link in bio to sign up for a volunteer shift.

Another successful year with seniors ⭐️ Thank you to our partners for facilitating the MYCAD program alongside our team 💻 Each year students are mentored by professionals in advertising & marketing field and are assigned to design their own brands 💭 The goal is for students to walk away with skills and tools to pursue the creative career of their dreams 🎓🎮📀🎥

⭐️ OUR EFTA 2026 EXHIBITION ⭐️

Thank you to all our teachers, students, families and friends who joined us in celebrating this year’s EFTA 2026 program 🖼️ We got a full house of over 100 in attendance celebrating the beautiful art work and supporting the local bookshop 🤩Not only did we get to acknowledge our scholarship awardees, but we also heard about the ways this program has successfully become a new resource for students who are looking for meaningful opportunities to truly express their feelings through art 💭🎨

CONGRATS 🎉 Our first place winner Hazel Vukojevich who received a $325 scholarship award and to their teacher Alicia Gorecki from .camad.vada who received a matching amount ✨🎓
