I attend Tri-C, and am working towards a degree in Horticulture. We are a landscape company with a central focus on giving people pride in their property. We accomplish this by means of pruning your overgrown shrubs, removing unsightly plants, or installing a fresh flower bed(s). We also do soil analysis; this helps us understand what is going on underground and lets us know which types of plants
If you're having trouble finding a small plant that will handle a tough area in your bed, consider a Magic Carpet Spirea. They love sun, have bright colored leaves, nice flowers, good Autumn color and are tough to kill once established. Compact plant, 1.5-2' high and wide max size.

She just smiled and smiled. Sooo happy to have some pizazz in the front again, pride restored. Tricky sun/color/size requirements, but we made it happen & it will hold up long-term with minimal upkeep.

Smaller property, but that's ok! It still meant the world to her to finally have the front and side buffed up. (6) Green Gem Boxwoods ( super slow growing & very little trimming needed, ever ) is all she wanted. Simple & effective.

Dwarf Alberta Spruce, 20 years old. Tricky removal; wires running through rootballs, shrubs are close to plants, keep truck off lawn. Precision removal using the winch & never drove on lawn.

Formal gardens are my absolute favorites! These were at the Kingwood Center Gardens estate in Mansfield. Clean lines, everything in place, color combos; just magnificent. Look at those Hemlock hedges in the background! Here at Meroscapes, we can create all kinds of gardens for you to enjoy, big or small.

Dragon-Eye Pine trees. Mix of green & cream colored bands; when looking down at the buds it looks like a dragon eye. Specimen plant only. Not the easiest to deal with. Would not recommend for the average homeowner.

Trying to imagine what your property could look like is not easy to do, but this design process makes it much easier to understand. We can also construct & sell you a list of plants that will do well on your property, once we establish site conditions. We love this stuff!

Rock hard, pea gravel patio. How can that be, you ask? By using an innovative, honeycomb style, sub-structure called CORE Path Foundations. Can be laid on top of firm soil or the proper aggregate. No more sloshing around like sand. Client purchased it and we installed it. They can now wheel a grill or a stroller right over top of it, with ease. Pretty neat!

For those of you that don't know me, I'm Mike and I own Meroscapes. When I get free time, I love visiting public gardens, particularly estates. The layout of the plants, old and new world ideas, color palettes, site conditions, etc. These few pics are from Stan Hywet in Akron, OH. Strongsville client likes her seasonal purples and pinks so we chose plants like Lilac, Bellflower, Balloon Flower, Panicle Hydrangea & Butterfly Bush. All will thrive in site conditions. A (seedless) Celebration Maple compliments the front yard now. New lawn in the Fall by another company. Want flowerbeds that won't turn into a mess?
