Update 5/30: We have received so many pools we should be set for awhile. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Our pigs need few new swimming pools to help keep cool in the coming hot summer days… if you have a kiddie (lol piggie) pool you no longer use, we would love to have it. Drop off any daylight hours in front of the big red barn… the pigs we be so delighted!

A couple members of the Homestead Hoofers 4-H Club set up a special event yesterday to showcase their animals they are raising. They were so excited to see Mayor Tim DeGeeter and Councilman Kevin Kussmaul, who both stopped out at the farm to see all the hard work being done every day. Thanks for coming out and supporting our youth!

So wonderful to see our farm friends in their Derby Day hats… this little gal was our Derby hat winner… and her dress finished off that great derby style. She was awarded a pink flamingo as her prize. The lady in the pink jacket gets honorable mention for creativity. Her hat featured a mint julep, a trophy, a bugle and red roses with a horse on top. Several others had hats, we just didn’t get their photo. Thanks for adding to the Derby Day festivities 🐎
