HOCO 2026, what a weekend! Wrap it off with a trip to your favorite ice cream shop for a dirty soda, cold brew, or sundae!

Of the three “Triple Scoop’d kids Will is clearly our entrepreneur. He has worked our Toast register since he was eight years old. This summer he has been busy preparing the next big thing in South Park! “Wills soda bar” launched today at Triple Scoop’d ice cream shop! How many 8th graders get to launch a new business? Come try them out! I suspect that it’s only a matter of time before Will is pitching something to Shark Tank the Sharks! Let’s all support him in his first launch.

On September 11, 2001 I was living in the city but, just by chance, was driving down Cumberland Ave as that second plane hit. That moment is forever etched in my head. I didn’t know what to think. I still don’t. Today I marked the 25th anniversary at city hall. Watching the stream of planes fly overhead made it even more special. Proud to be a part of this wonderful community. Thank you to our first responders who rush at and into dangerous situations. Let’s Roll!

Happy 17th Ellie. The wedding day “body painting” dress seemed funny back then. Now, as you approach adulthood, I’m officially locking you up! Grab your own favorite silly kids and bring them to Triple Scoop’d tonight. The days are sometimes long but these years are going by fast. Really really fast!

Extra special win tonight for the MS hawks and Coach Inserra. Getting 250 wins is an amazing coaching milestone. But it is only part of your legacy. The players you coached, mentored, and positively impacted and the amazing family you created, are what truly define you. Coach Inserra, you are a winner both on and off the field! Park Ridge was fortunate to have you all these years. Congrats from all your friends at Triple Scoop’d!

Sometimes change is expected and other times it catches you a bit off guard. This change was unexpected and is somewhat bittersweet. Going to miss the morning chats with the two Ellie’s on that short drive over to Maine South. Those magical moments are on hold as a new morning routine has emerged in junior year. But it’s also very cool. 😢 See you at the game tonight for some Triple Scoop’d ice cream!
