Look out Globo-Gym... Company 5 is coming for you!!! Last night's training was a thorough review of our SCBA and RIT packs. We followed up with some dodgeball shenanigans! While fun, the exercise reinforced air consumption techniques. Thanks to paramusschools_phs for the equipment lend!

Congratulations to Frank Lynch of Company 3, Bill Rice & Chuck Hittel of Company 4 and John Pecoraro & Steve Waxman of Company 5. They were all recently honored at the Paramus Fire Department installation dinner for their 50 years of service to the community. An amazing accomplishment!

Dec 1, 2025 - Paramus Volunteer Fire Department Chief Kurt Harba and Paramus Rescue Squad Chief Peter Braun are pleased to announce that the Rescue Squad will now be a part of the Paramus Fire Department.

The Rescue Squad will now be the fifth company of the PFD based out of the same location and membership will also remain the same.

In this modern era, it has become increasingly difficult to recruit volunteers for both of these emergency services. This merger will help both organizations to operate more efficiently and will ultimately benefit the community we serve.

The Paramus Police Department is proud to have been chosen by Santa Claus himself to deliver letters to the North Pole! Be sure to stop by Carlough Drive (between the PD and Borough Hall) and drop your letters in the mailbox! Last express delivery to the North Pole will be Friday, December 19th.
