When you read aloud to your baby, you can do all of these things. Through reading, you can build vocabulary and comprehension. Listening skills and focus improve. It is also a wonderful time to share together in a safe place. Before long, they will engage in the pictures, ask questions, and identify words on their own. Feed their minds early and often.
