Hello my fellow San Fernando Vallenians, my name is Andy Miranda and I want to become your next representative in 2022! About me: I am a 38 year old, 1st generation Cuban-American, U.S. The reason why I have decided to run for congress is simple and it's because, like most of you, I can no longer tolerate our tyrannical government. All too often once we elect our officials, they dissapear and neve

r bother to hear from their constiuents. The problem with that type of politician is that they never vote in congress as their voters wish and instead prefer to vote along their party's lines or as they desire, completely ignoring their voters. When that happens, we no longer control our government, it instead controls us. Well I promise to never be that type of public official!! My goal as your congressman will be to put together townhall meetings every 2, 3, or 4 months, or as necessary, and listen to YOU, THE PEOPLE! Listen to your issues, problems and solutions. Doesn't matter if it's a street crack that needs fixing or a 'Build Back Better' bill, every issue that we talk about will ultimately be voted on by the voters of the 29th district and that vote will also be my vote either in congress or locally. In other words, every single decision that I would make as your congressman would be decided on by YOU, THE PEOPLE! To help ensure this, I would have a website created to keep track of our top 10 issues locally, statewide, nationally and internationally. The website will also allow us to safely and securely vote for all those same issues using a redundant system of confirming emails, usernames and an open forum where everyone can see their vote and confirm whether they voted 'Yea' or 'Nea'. Any and every public official has a duty to the people who voted them into office to ensure that everything they do is based on how their voters want it to be. If your elected officials aren't listening to you and having you vote on every issue, then your government is no longer working for you. We the people, control the government........the government should NEVER tell us what to do, UNLESS WE VOTE TO MAKE IT SO! Now let's take back our country and government because WE THE PEOPLE have all the control, never forget that and don't forget my name either......its Andy Miranda and I'M AT YOUR SERVICE!!!!!

Folks, make no mistake....the reason why America is currently in such a bad shape is because Biden, the Biden administration, the democrats, and all our current leaders, have intentionally put us in this position!
