Volunteers dig out buried benches and Ed Hunt Rehab Point Sand blasted an area for disabled beachgoers but volunteers are digging it out

Benches and walkway back at Ed Hunt Rehab Point in Oxnard as sand-pulling process continues Heavy equipment is now on scene at Oxnard's Ed Hunt Rehab Point, digging out 25 benches and a pathway buried in sand. The walkway and benches allow people with disabilities and seniors to enjoy the ocean setting.

After bad weather benches at Ed Hunt's Rehab Point were covered in sand and inaccessible to those in wheelchairs.

Picnic fetes man's work to give beach access to disabled Hundreds of guests gathered for the 23rd annual Ed Hunt Rehab Point Project Picnic at Oxnard Beach Park.
