I am so grateful for books. I tried reading e-books for awhile, but there is something about holding a book in my hands that I appreciate.
Growing up, my grandma would take my sisters, cousin, and I to the local library to get books all the time. We would get the max allowed to take home, and usually finish reading them by the end of the day.
I am grateful for building reading habits as a child. It was so normal to me, I never realized others did not have the same encouragement.
I am grateful to work with such great leaders that not only encourage reading, but have written some great books themselves! (If you’re not already, make sure you follow !!)
