Close Encounters Fishing Charters

Private Saltwater Fishing excursions around Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Ponce Inlet, Indian River and the World Famous Mosquito Lagoon with Master Capt.

Xavier Groenendyk. Close Encounters Inshore Flats Fishing charters will get you closer to the action than anyone else. With a range of high performance boats and fishing gear to choose from, your experience is my top priority. While targeting redfish, tarpon, snook, and speckled sea trout encounters from large aligators, manatees and sharks are very common. In the environment we fish we also see many different bird species, snakes, and other animals just to name a few! Most of the flats fishing around orlando involves sight fishing. (Hunting down fish and then making a presentation.) Sometimes it takes a lot of patience and sometimes they are jumping in the boat. Its extremely exciting and enough to make your knees weak when stalking a big fish! Tight Lines!

Fun backwater lagoon trip with Dillan getting some content for his clothing company
He’s putting out some high quality marine apparel that you should definitely check out. We were very comfortable and protected from the sun as we put the wood to the redfish!
