The Interstruct Team at CFCAR Hallmark Awards, where they brought home two trophies: The Innovation Award for our Parramore Redevelopment, and Deal of the Year for our work on Travel + Leisure Co.'s global HQ on the West Church Corridor. It's been a great season at Interstruct, and a tremendous way to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

What began as a search for our next office became an opportunity to explore a different approach to development.

Adaptive reuse. Thoughtful infill. Flexible buildings designed for future uses. Public art. Community partnerships.

Six years later, those ideas have evolved into a headquarters, a home for Parramore Arts and the ArtCube, a gathering place for The Desire Foundation and Interstruct Connect, and a growing center of gravity along the West Church Corridor.

The work continues.

Twenty-five years ago on May 18, Interstruct was incorporated. Ryan Young and Rich Monroe had a humble beginning but held on to an idea that the construction process could be different. Their concept of creating a path to build better has informed every decision that they've made.

25 years later, Interstruct Design + Build continues to do exactly that. We are an architect-led design-build firm with vertically integrated general contracting, architectural and real estate services. We have grown from two founding partners to multiple offices across the southeast and almost 70 employees.

We are grateful to our incredible Interstruct team, our consultants, sub-contractors, community partners and clients whose incredible hard work and partnerships have made Interstruct what it is today.

Here’s to the next chapter of thoughtful design, bold infill projects, and spaces that bring people together.

Walter’s Tavern was named a finalist in the hospitality + dining category at the Golden Brick Awards, and it was great to see the project recognized alongside so many strong contributors shaping downtown Orlando.

Located within Great Southern Box Company Food Hall and Bar, the project gave us the chance to work inside a historic citrus packing warehouse and help create a space that feels connected to Orlando’s past while adding new energy to the Packing District today.

Interstruct Design + Build led the architecture and construction, with interiors by Kim Price and KAP Studio. A lot of thoughtful storytelling and detail went into this one, all centered around the legacy of Walter Phillips and Central Florida’s citrus history.

It is a significant honor that our Travel + Leisure global headquarters was recognized as the GAME CHANGER at the 2025
Downtown Orlando Partnership Golden Brick Awards.

This was the largest downtown office project in 2025. Interstruct completed the full renovation of the five-story, 186,000 SF building in just seven months.

More importantly, the project brings 900+ employees into downtown along the West Church Corridor, adding energy and economic activity to this important and evolving district.

We’re hiring in Tampa. Interstruct Design + Build is looking for an Architectural / Revit Draftsperson to support our architecture team—someone who can jump into production, collaborate across disciplines, and help carry projects from concept through permitting.

This role sits inside a fully integrated design + build environment, working closely with both architects and construction teams on active healthcare and commercial projects.
