Calling all women business owners. We have begun our Women Supporting Girls campaign for the 2026-2027 school year. This year marks our 23rd year mentoring girls in Orange County. We are seeking 23 women business owners to give a $230 donation to help us continue our work. Donations to LANES are tax deductible and sends a message to girls that they matter, they are seen, heard and supported. Won’t you help us? Please give today.

Today a few of our alums helped pack 30,000 backpacks at A Gift for Teaching’s Great Big Backpack Build. It was a great morning of giving and fun.
Y’all didn’t think we forgot about our alums who received scholarships did you? It’s thankful Tuesday! We are thankful that our girls become alums who stay connected, show up for the girls and give back. And we know, when you give, it shall come back to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. So much favor in the room!
On this 5th Sunday of the 5th month of the year, we look back at our class of 2026 scholarships recipients and remind everybody that there is a blessing with your name on it. Get ready to receive it!

We are proud to celebrate alums Ciara Cummings (‘13) and Tia Humphries (‘16) on their EMMY award achievements. Tia received her first EMMY in the category of outstanding breaking news coverage as a field producer with ABC News while Ciara earned three EMMY awards in the categories of journalistic enterprise, health/medical news, and societal concerns with Atlanta News First, making her now a ten-time EMMY award winning journalist! These remarkable accomplishments are a testament to their talent, dedication and professionalism. We celebrate you both and thank you for showing our girls what representing excellence looks like. Keep up the great work and keep on shining. You both inspire all of us.
