Well we started getting faster and using better race strategy first heat 5th , add a bit more lift use a smaller prop for better corner acceleration finishing 3rd next heat. Heat 3 Mike made a good start was in position 2 dropped back a bit and posibly a rod let loose or camshaft broke in half not sure what happened first we found some traces of water plant in cooling system . Yanked out mor dropped in our ancient 305 mod and finished 4th in final . I would describe the weekend as the good the bad and the ugly. Unfortunately it pointless to run the old motor against 350s so the 62 maybe parked for the season more pics later . The E6 is scheduled to head to Moses lake in late August so stay tuned.
