It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved previous CEO, Roderick “Rick” Anthony Fraser II.

Rick’s story with Rodrigo’s began when he was just 16 years old. Following in the footsteps of his parents, who founded the family business, he worked from the ground up, carried forward their legacy, and eventually became CEO of Rodrigo’s Mexican Grill.

To Rick, Rodrigo’s was always about more than the restaurants—it was about people. He was incredibly proud of his family and equally proud of the people who worked alongside him. He cared deeply for every employee and considered them part of the Rodrigo’s family.

His work ethic, generosity, loyalty, and love for this company will continue to live on through the generations, employees, and guests who make Rodrigo’s what it is today.

We will miss him beyond words. 🤍
