Okay seriously how did I just figure out that you can paint leather? This opens up an entire world of possibilities. I paid $40 for this gigantic heavy duty leather ottoman with water stains on it because I thought it had good bones and I just got around to painting it. I mixed 2 colors to get my favorite color and now imma gonna be paintin' damn near every nasty old leather thing I can get my hands!

Everything I got hurts but I stacked 2 of these bad boys full of firewood today and we ready for winter baby.

And just like that, The Chapel House is black...I think I love it.

My bedroom is just starting to come together at The Chapel House even though I still have a long way to go-cannot wait to get the saltillos in, the new chandy medallion up and get the trim and crown painted black. So excited to do the fun stuff but it will be awhile...patience is not my strong suit that's fo sho!

Just really trying to rework my dining room gallery wall...tis a process and I'm not done yet but for sure but I think I am on to something beautiful that suits me. I know my style makes zero sense to most people but it makes sense to me:)

The Chapel House is finally happening. Absolutely terrifying yet reminds me I am alive, human and challenging myself...one of the first major changes in restoring this beautiful chapel window/wall to what she has always deserved to be.

Never gets old foxgloves, lavender and carnations are blooming.

Say hello to my little friend. She's filthy and needs the crystals repaired and even in that state she is still an absolute stunner. I have dreamed of this day.

I think we might have a love story here folks. I found out that Wren is an Egyptian goose and can in fact fly. I cannot help but notice that these two are inseparable and I even witnessed some pond porn...I will spare you the details. Anyhow, rather than flying off Wren has elected to stay by Inez's side, which is just the sweetest thing. I keep letting them out to swim and forage and he hasn't flown off. He just gets in line and files back in to the coop with Inez in the evening-soooo cute!

Miles be like who dat? And yes, Wren is still with us. This bird is absolutely gorgeous.

These two...Wren made a full recovery and hasn't flown off yet. I think he kindof likes it here...
