Pro 250 Pre Race Notes & Observations 📝

Mason Semmens:
- Won the first two races this year and earned a hard fought 2nd at rd. 3
- Is carrying an 18 point lead into rd. 4

Colton Aeck
- Put together an impressive wire to wire win at rd. 3 and currently sits 2nd in points
- Has had decent finishes at 29 Palms in the past
- 2023: 5th // 2022: 3rd // 2021 (first year of offroad): 8th

Kai Aiello
- Quietly sitting in 3rd after a podium at rd. 1
- Has put together quality finishes at this round each of the last three years, running top five in each (podiumed in 2022 & 2023)
- 2023: 3rd // 2022: 2nd // 2021: 5th

JP Alvarez
- Won at 29 Palms last year and in 2020
- Had a rough go at Glen Helen, but otherwise has been right there fighting for wins (two other podiums this year)

Dante Oliveira
- Currently on a 6 race win streak dating back to Delta, UT in 2023
- Has won twice at 29 Palms in 2023 & 2020

Cole Martinez
- Won this round in 2021, 2022
- Is quietly 3rd in points and trending in the right direction after a hard fought podium at rd. 3

Dare Demartile
- Off to his best GP start since making the switch to offroad with two 2nd place finishes to start the year, and is currently running 2nd in points
- Historically this round hasn’t given Dare much to write home about (8th in 2023 & 13th in 2022) but things are trending in the right direction so far this season

Dalton Shirey
- Traditionally a desert racer, Dalton is always a threat to win at 29 Palms
- Led half the race in 2022 before a last lap mechanical issue took the win away
- Average finish at this venue is 3.25
