An absolute joy to share the stage again with two of my biggest supporters and mentors David Finckel and Wu Han ❤️ Thank you to The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and can’t wait to be back here next month!
Now off to Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and with Rune Bergmann for a pair of performances of an old friend, Tchaikovsky Concerto!

Not sure how much of the history I learned is going to stick, but the enormous amount of food has certainly left its mark.. Back to Boston for a few days, and then to my new home Kronberg Academy!

Join us in kicking off our new season! We open by welcoming back violinist Julian Rhee months after his being awarded an Avery Fisher Career Grant, adding to his string of victories in important international competitions. Julian performs the dramatic and beautiful Sibelius concerto, which the orchestra precedes with F***y Mendelssohn-Hensel’s bold and skillful Overture in C major. The concert concludes with Beethoven’s revolutionary Eroica Symphony, which forever altered the scale and sweep of future composers’ musical and structural imagination.

An absolutely life changing experience this past week performing Lera Auerbach‘s 24 Preludes for Violin and Piano with the incredible Angela Yoffe and Hamburg Ballett! To not only hear Lera’s music, but to see it, to experience it, to embody it in its fullest physical and visual form has already changed my perception of how music can be experienced. A huge thank you to Lera and the Hamburg Ballet for the opportunity to bring John Neumeier’s production to life, and a special thank you to my selfless mentors Angela Yoffe and Vadim Gluzman for their constant belief in me. I’m forever indebted to you both for all your love and encouragement ☺️

What a privilege and honor it was to have spent the last couple days back in Chicago, giving a masterclass in a space I’ve called home since I was in elementary school, and performing with the amazing Chelsea Wang for the one and only Mary Galvin and the The Stradivari Society.
I’m endlessly grateful to Mrs. Galvin, my team at Bein & Fushi, and the unbelievable generosity of the Stradivari Society for believing in me and encouraging me to strive for more ❤️
