Abby was adopted from us SIX years ago! It is hard to even imagine we have been rescuing cats that long. Abby was one of the lucky kitties to be rescued from our municipal shelter. She was an older kitten who was scared and shy and her cage was marked with three "X's". A volunteer brought her to me wrapped in a blanket and asked me to take her; knowing very little about her except for the fact that she was adorable. terribly scared and her future there was precarious, I took her with me that day. She was adopted by a wonderful family who with patience and love gave Abby the support and space she needed to thrive. Her family sends us wonderful updates through the years and has been a generous supporter of all our efforts. We adore Abby and enjoy witnessing her live her best life! Thank you for taking a chance on this shy girl and helping her to become a loving, confident girl. Wishing Abby and her family a wonderful summer!

It is with much sadness we share with you the passing of our sweet boy Rusty. We rescued Rusty the summer of 2024 when he was found seeking food on the deck of one of our wonderful friends. Rusty was tired, neglected and hungry when he showed up. He was forced to live outside although he was a very sweet boy. Sadly, Rusty lived most of his life alone. Our friend fed him and called us. Together we trapped him and got him to our vet. He was treated for a skin infection, neutered and given lots of TLC. One of our previous adopters reached out and offered to foster him, and Rusty never left their home or their hearts. They fell in love with him and he with them. They adopted him. Finally Rusty received all the love and attention he deserved. The last two years of his life were more than Rusty could ever have imagine. He thrived in his home and that time let Rusty know just how good life can be. He was so loved; he was so happy. Sadly, Rusty died suddenly last week of heart failure. We don't know how old Rusty was, but we do know he was an older cat. Outdoor life had played a toll on his body, and it was difficult to estimate his exact age. We are so grateful to our foster family who showed Rusty so much love. Thank you for opening up your hearts and home to our sweet boy. We are also so grateful to our friend who found Rusty and brought him to our attention. There are so many wonderful cats who are living outdoors alone and deserve a better life. We are so grateful we were able to give Rusty that chance. Rest easy sweet boy, you will always be remembered. Forced to live outside although he was a very sweet boy, Rusty lived most of his life alone.

Just like her namesake from Friends, Phoebe is a little quirky, completely lovable, and marches to the beat of her own drum.
This adorable kitten has a playful spirit, endless curiosity, and a talent for making everyone smile. Whether she's chasing toys, exploring new corners, or curling up for a cozy nap, Phoebe brings a little extra joy wherever she goes. She may not sing "Smelly Cat," but she's ready to be the star of your home!
