People often tell me that financial literacy is a boring topic but you can see from the pics that some of these sessions have close to 100 people in attendance. If you can believe it some of the sessions are 2 hours long. A couple of weeks ago I was even asked for an encore presentation and had to whip out another topic for 20 minutes.

Over the past year I decided to lean into public speaking (I even got some voice coaching). I developed a seminar series with topics such as Retirement Planning, Retirement Income Management for Retirees, Investing, Registered Accounts and Estate Planning.
There are ways to keep the audience interested. One of them is to teach people and actually provide information that they have not heard before. (How many times has someone told you to save more spend less? It gets boring)

This has been a great way to give back to the community in the GTA. Now that I have these sessions developed I think we can share them with even more people in the community.

If you have a community group or workplace who you think would like financial literacy session that ranges from 30 minutes to 2 hours reach out and lets make it happen!
