Preproduction at The Waterhole.
After 38 years of running Inflight Productions, Michael Hartig is retiring. Bittersweet, to be sure, but we produced so many great films and worked with so many great people, that I’m proud to exit on a high note.
I offer my sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all of the clients, friends, and colleagues who made the continued success of Inflight possible. Without all of you, none of this could have taken place. I really think that I will miss each and every one of you.
Denise will also be changing course, as she shifts to active management of the Plattsmouth bar that she has owned for many years. (Stop in at the Waterhole bar on Main Street for a cold one and a game on the Inflight Foosball table.)
As I leave for my next adventure, I wanted to be sure to leave a framework in place for those who want to continue with the Inflight production model. To that end, my senior producer, Gabe Oas, is forming his own production company to continue the fine work that he has put forth for the last 18 years at Inflight. Gabe’s shooting, producing, and editing have yielded some of the most recognizable work in the Omaha production community, and that will not stop. I will still be available for the occasional writing or directing assignment as needed, but Gabe will carry the ball from here.
Gabe can be contacted through his production company website, www.go-twodigital.com, by phone at 402-651-6239, or by email at [email protected] He will continue to offer the high level of service that clients have come to expect from Inflight Productions.
Again, my thanks to all of you. It’s been a long and satisfying ride, and I am truly fortunate to have taken it.
See you in the movies,
mh
