Ok CWS fans. You're in Nebraska...so lets BEEF. (and other stuff)
Monday: keeping it simple today so you all can check out our newest farm/partner. North 40 Premium Beef wagyu burger, secret sauce, pickle, caramelized onion and Coopers sharp on a house seeded brioche bun.
Tuesday: Salmon tartine! Pan roasted wild caught salmon. Served open faced on extra toasty baguette with shaved Schoolhouse gardens cucumber, Long walk farms greens, pickled onion, lemon caper aioli and Oakview farms tomato.
Wednesday: The Rochelle. House roasted and shaved Evetta Farms heritage turkey, EF strawberry rhubarb jam, crispy sweet potato fries, cheddar, gouda, crispy bacon on butter griddled le q cheddar bread
Thursday: our take on a famous Al's Italian beef. Sloooooow roasted and shaved prime rib on a house seeded roll with hot celery jardinier. Served hot n wet or double dunked!....orrrr....BEEF ON WECK
Thursday DINNER; Old skool prime rib night!!! House salad or soup, 24 hour sous vide prime rib, horseradish, au jus, local veggies and a traditional side. Caramelized donut a la mode for dessert
Friday: PRIME RIB FRENCH DIP!!! 24 hour sous vide prime rib piled high a toasty sourdough roll with 3 day caramelized onions, gruyere and marrownaise
Saturday: Arbywich. 24 hour shaved prime rib, horseradish, cheddar wiz, house bacon, Franch and slaw on an onion bun.

Oh. You've had an epic breakfast burrito before? Cool story. Chicken fried ribeye cap, scrambled Evetta Farms egg, bacon, fire roasted jalapeño, pickled fresno salsa, roasted potato, grilled onion, cheddar and 'Merican cheese in a giant grilled burrito with chorizo southern gravy for dunking. It's someone's bday at Block today. She won't let us announce it but you might wanna throw out some HBDS and see who smiles. Come see us!!!

The Ozztalian. Australian style sausage roll made with house Italian sausage, wrapped in puff pastry and baked. Fried string cheese, provolone, pesto mayo, 24 hour oxtail ragu, oregano and a mountain of parmesan on a toasty roll. Come see us!!!

As life long culinarians and lovers of all things food, one of our favorite, if not our top favorite thing about owning and operating Block is finding the best local, small farms and showcasing their amazing products. We are over the moon thrilled to introduce you all to North 40 Premium Beef, our newest menu addition. 100% American wagyu and we are here to tell you, it's the best and it's gonna be all over our menu moving forward. Thanks so much to Logan and to our friends at Au Courant Regional Kitchen for introducing us. Wait til you all try this!

Sorry for the late post. BANH MI. Pan roasted duck breast, hoisin pulled chicken, thick, slow roasted pork belly, Vietnamese style ham, pickled and fresh veggies and spiccy mayo on a house seeded baguette. 2 soups too. Come see us!!!

Bad news. Halibut was a no show. Good news. Got some crazy fresh cod in. More good news.TWO SPECIALS. 1. Grown up fish stix!!! House brined and saltine breaded crispy cod. Served with fries, a drink and tarragon sauce anchois. 2: Cod roller! Crispy fried cod, dirty slaw, chipotle mayo, pineapple mango salsa, candied tomato, pickle, pickled onion in a giant grilled burrito. Come see us!!!

We started our cooking careers at 14. There's a very early memory of a chain smoking, coffee chugging porter that always said "all I drink is hot coffee, even in the summer. Keeps the body warm through winter." Hes probably no longer around. While we thought that was the worst advice ever, maybe he was right? So come eat soup on a 90 degree day to train your body for winter.
