We had the opportunity to gift someone with a pair of new work boots!

Over the holiday weekend, we received a message from our new friend who needed some assistance with getting back to work.
He explained to us that he was out of work and couldn't go back because his old work boots were worn and no longer safe for his workplace.
The Basic Things Foundation was honored to gift new steel toe boots, to help our friend get back to work.

This Sunday! December 3rd! We will be giving away hat, scarves and gloves to the first 100 people to show up. Also will be providing hot meals, and to-go lunches.

We are proud say, we hosted a successful food giveaway this past weekend..

Last Sunday, The Basic Things Foundation was able to serve over 100 hot meals and 100 to-go lunches for people in need in the Omaha metro area.
Having the opportunity to give back to the community, gives us the chance to reconnect and show our gratitude to humanity. We were able to have some great conversations, exchanged words of encouragement and even shared laughs with one another.

To continue giving back to our community, we plan to host a meal giveaway every other Sunday. Dates, specific times and locations will be posted on our page every week.
