This one was a bit of a challenge because the client has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), affecting the elasticity of the skin. Very easy to put in bold color, a little difficult to blend, but healed beautifully 🐱🥰

World Health Day 2026, observed on April 7th, calls on people everywhere to stand with science.

The theme for 2026, “Together for health. Stand with science”, launches a year‑long campaign celebrating the power of scientific collaboration to protect the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet.

It’s a reminder that science isn’t just in labs or hospitals, it shapes everyday industries in ways that keep communities safe, like tattooing!

The Alliance of Professional Tattooists (APT), a nonprofit trade organization dedicated to uniting tattoo professionals, works to promote the art of tattooing and education of health and safety standards.
By encouraging dissemination of accurate research within the industry, working with public health organizations and communicating with practitioners, the APT works to ensure that the tattoo trade has a voice in regulatory issues affecting tattooing.

The APT plays a key role in the safety of both artists and clients by educating them about sterilization methods, proper procedures and use of equipment, preventing bloodborne pathogens and other important health concerns.
