Key relationships require intentionality.

A couple of days ago, I had breakfast with Michael Perdunn, Sr. Director at OakTruss Group and an alumnus of AIM Institute’s IT Leadership Academy (now Elevate Academy).

Michael and I go back to our time at Omaha Public Power District, and over the years we’ve stayed connected in simple ways—weekend soccer, the occasional breakfast, and the occasional WhatsApp message. Nothing elaborate. Just intentional.

Those small touchpoints matter more than we realize.

Our conversation focused on ideas aligned with AIM Institute’s Vision 2030 and our theme . It reminded me that the relationships we nurture over time often become the ones that help us reimagine, rebuild, and move forward together.

As Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, once said:

“The fastest way to change yourself is to hang out with people who are already the way you want to be.”

Grateful for the friendship, the conversation, and the shared commitment to strengthening our community.

As you think about 2026, what does intentional privacy in this context mean to you?

Today marks the beginning of a new week, and I am up early to reflect on the past three weeks, which saw travel across three continents in pursuit of a single goal—to secure my future, my peace, my passion, my perfect placement in God’s plan and purpose.

As I look forward to 2026 with great anticipation and excitement, I am thankful for how God has ordered my steps in the last three months for my in Christ.

I pray that the remaining three weeks of 2025 bring you to a place that will transform your heart, career, family, and everything else you desire—so that you step into 2026 not only a better person but much stronger, more focused and divinely equipped for the most incredible season of your life. I pray that the Lord remove every relationship that has held you back and bring every blessing to launch you forward into your destiny in Jesus' name!
