Georgia Curry is nonverbal. But that didn't stop her from making sure a woman states away got the medication she needs to take every day. The recent partnership between QLI’s East Campus Life Path Services team and the dynamos from Circle Theatre prove how collaboration and compassion can fuel creativity.

The silver screens at QLI reflected the results of months of the shared labor of love that produced two inclusive feature films-“Mirror, Mirror” and “Dimensions: A Space Odyssey.”

Earlier this month, a group of curious and engaged members from Avenue Scholars visited QLI for Career Awareness Day. The day provided the 14 area high school students with a hands-on introduction into the healthcare world and offered a pathway into QLI’s I.M.P.A.C.T. program.

Isabela Flores, a graduate of Avenue Scholars and I.M.P.A.C.T. and QLI Rehabilitation Trainer and Tyler Von Rentzell, QLI’s Coordinator of Adaptive Fitness shared their journeys and roles at QLI.

Earlier this month, members of the Husker Bass Anglers fishing club and spinal cord injury rehabilitation alum, Dustin Hunt, coordinated with QLI’s Adaptive Sports Program to host a catch and release bass fishing tournament at QLI’s lake.

QLI Summit resident, “Catfish” Cory Kreikemeier, reeled in a 3.1-pound largemouth bass that landed him the grand prize.

It was a fantastic way to wrap up the summer fishing season at QLI, and we’d like to thank everyone who made it such a success!

It's "fairly" safe to say that fun was had, funds were raised, and QLI's An Evening at the Fair was a smashing success! While we cannot possibly sum the evening up in one post, we can give you a sneak peek.
