🚨 TORNADO SIREN TEST REMINDER 🚨

The Okay Fire Department will be conducting a routine tornado siren test today, May 15, 2026, at approximately 12:00 PM (Noon).

The Okay Fire Department was honored to attend the Cherokee Nation Firefighters Banquet this evening alongside departments and firefighters from across the region.

Events like these are an important reminder of the strong partnerships, shared traditions, and dedication that exist throughout the fire service community.

We are proud to represent the Town of Okay and continue building a department focused on professionalism, training, service, and community involvement.

Thank you to the Cherokee Nation for hosting a great evening recognizing the men and women of the fire service.

And a special thank you to 3 Key Chaplains Chaplain Zach Schultz for taking the picture for us!

🚨 WELCOME OUR NEWEST FIREFIGHTERS 🚨

The Okay Fire Department is proud to welcome our two newest members to the family:

🔥 Cadet Firefighter/Paramedic Nicholas Ponder

Both Nick and Owen have stepped up to answer the call and begin their journey in the fire service. As Cadet Firefighters, they’ll be training, learning, and putting in the work to earn their place on the line.

These two have already shown the attitude and commitment we’re looking for, and we’re excited to watch them grow into the role.
