The day kicks off with the historic MainStreet Oceanside Oceanside Independence Parade, a beloved community tradition dating back more than a century, featuring marching bands, floats, local organizations, and hometown pride along Coast Highway. Then head to the waterfront for the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce Oceanside USA 250 Festival at the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre with a music music fest including headliner , fun zone, chili cook off and more classic Americana fun.

Wishing these incredible athletes smooth roads, strong legs, favorable winds, and just the right amount of tailwind as they take on one of the world’s toughest bicycle race!

And there’s more to come! Race Across America team action kicks off Saturday, 6/20, as more riders set out from Oceanside on their 3000 mile cross-country journey. 🚴🌎
