If y’all don’t know about me, freestyling is my thing! I made a name for myself battling at I try to sneak at least a lil bit in during live performances. And things of that nature. So you’d imagine my excitement when I got the opportunity to bless the mic during the show at .listen up in the O! And over a instrumental?!

I love to point out things in the crowd and shout out homies to assure people know it’s off the top and to engage folks. Sometimes I might have some go to bars that I may say on reflex, but that’s also part of it IMO. Where’s all the freestylers at? If I throw a competition or a improv cypher, who’s tryna mob?!

I’m still reeling from last weekends show with for multiple reasons!

One, cause obviously Digable Planets is legendary af. I’ve been bumping them since I was a kid and hadn’t ever gotten to see them live

Another reason being, this was my second time being on the lineup at having only officially rocked that stage in 2027 opening for one of my favorite groups People Under the Stairs (RIP Double K)

Furthermore, I got the opportunity to share that stage with none other than one of my closest collaborators and best friends .m00n and we got to rock hella joints!

Not only that, but I also was able to share the stage with the super homies .yourself and my fellow 🐯

august 19th I dropped a project called F**k Ric Scales. On that project, there is a song titled “S’POSED 2 B” produced by .m00n and for that song, an amazing artist named s**t a video. Then sh*t went left…

Andrew after putting together this beautifully shot video, decided it wasn’t enough, and he printed the video out… frame by f******g frame and made it a majority stop motion… and sprinkled in some green screen… 6 months later and we have a beautifully crafted mixed media music video.

In a time where anything can done by writing some prompts into a search engine, I’m honored to be a part of something real and human. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do 🙏🏿
