4 days exploring, watching elk casually strolling through Mather Campground, 3 awesome hikes, lots of biking along the trails and views for days.

A little cold…but 100% worth it.

Page, Arizona did not disappoint 🤩⛰️
Epic backdrops, cool hikes, and views for days. Checked out Horseshoe Bend, stopped at the coolest Shell gas station you’ll ever see, and did an awesome hike called Bee Hive. Desert adventures = 10/10

Bucket list moment at Monument Valley

As we drive through Monument Valley, the infamous backdrop of Forrest Gump’s running scene, Craig said to give him 3 minutes alone in the RV. He comes out in his best Forrest Gump outfit. After I recover from laughing so hard, we go out to the road to take video of him running up the hill. A crowd that is stopped to take photos decides to join in and run behind him. He only wishes he hadn’t just trimmed his beard.

I am pretty sure this was the highlight of the trip right here. The people that were stopped to take photos saw me taking photos of Craig running and wanted to join in. Unplanned perfect moment. IYKYK

We dipped into Colorado for a day to visit Mesa Verde National Park. Looking across the canyon at ancient cliff dwellings built by the Ancestral Pueblo people over 700 years ago was something we hadn’t seen anywhere else. So cool to think about thriving villages living Cliffside, but made me wonder - how did they get their Starbucks every morning 🙃
