I miss the days before Covid-19.
Sitting here this morning, a year since they placed her in the hospital when she just stopped by for Covid-19 medication.
She called me because I had stayed in the car, since it was only going to take a few minutes. Well she called me and asked me to bring her purse and phone to her. I walk in to the room. She’s in and there are like 6 people in the little room and one is there with a wheel chair to get your mother and take her to the waiting ambulance. So I gave her the things she asked for, bent over and kissed her on the forehead.
It’s my last kiss.
The last of her being with me.
21 days later she passed away only after I. Signed the fu**in DNR.
I’m so sorry!!!!
I know you can’t forgive me.
