Did you know longarming can be for more than just quilts?

These pillow shams weren’t completed with the original quilt, and she wasn’t sure we’d be able to match the quilting. But we found the exact same flamingo design that was used on her quilt and were able to finish these babies off right!

Sometimes it’s those little finishing touches that make everything feel like it was meant to be together. 🦩

That’s one of the things I love about pantographs—they’re so versatile. The same quilting design can be used on two completely different quilts and give you two completely different results.
Sometimes the quilting quietly adds texture and lets the piecing do the talking. Other times, the quilting itself becomes another design element you really notice.
Either way, it’s amazing how those final stitches can bring a quilt to life. ❤️

I know not every longarmer is excited to see minky backing come through the door, but I actually love quilting with it! It was longarming other people’s minky-backed quilts that convinced me to start using minky on the back of my own.

It’s always my favorite when you can really see the quilting design shine on the back, and these hearts were the perfect finishing touch for this Alice in Wonderland–themed quilt. ❤️

This one is This one is for my bestie. ❤️ When I asked what she wanted for the quilting, she said, “Do whatever—I just want yellow thread.”
And boy, did we give her yellow thread. 💛
Every season, she updates her kitchen with a beautiful wall hanging. And while I know it’s not exactly bunny season, this one was way too cute not to share!

This one is full of colorful blocks and so many little details to find. We went with stars and swirls for the quilting, and I love how much texture it adds without taking away from all that fun piecing.

Even more special, this quilt was made as a boot camp graduation gift for her daughter. ❤️ I feel so blessed to get to be a small part of quilts that carry such special stories.
