Thursday at 1pm we are planning for our weekly Thirsty Thursday pool party, rain or shine!! Come spend some time hanging out at the lanai-it’s always a good time with lots of laughs!
If you have a snack that you’d like to share (pretzels, chips, dip, etc), bring it along, we’ll set up a little area and crank up the popcorn machine as well!

It looks like we still have a few more days of rain, but we are making the best of them!

ONE OF FLORIDA’S OLDEST SMALL TOWNS CLOSES ITS MAIN STREET FOR A 2-DAY FALL FESTIVAL WITH 200+ BOOTHS, FOOD, MUSIC & SOUTHERN CHARM!

This fall, the tiny town of Micanopy, Florida turns its historic downtown into one big outdoor celebration for the 51st Micanopy Fall Festival.

📅 October 31–November 1, 2026
⏰ Saturday: 9 AM–5 PM | Sunday: 9 AM–4 PM
🎟️ Admission: FREE

More than 200 booths fill Cholokka Boulevard with handmade crafts, original art, jewelry, plants, seasonal decorations, gifts and creations from artists and makers throughout the Southeast.

Come hungry because festival food and sweet treats are part of the fun. Visitors can listen to live music while exploring the booths and check out the traditional auction, where donated vendor items are sold to benefit local programs.

For the weekend, Cholokka Boulevard closes to vehicle traffic, transforming the heart of downtown into a walkable festival.

The setting makes this one especially interesting. Micanopy was established in 1821 and named for Seminole leader Micanopy. Today, its historic buildings, antique shops and enormous live oaks draped in Spanish moss give the festival a distinctly Old Florida atmosphere.

It’s the kind of fall weekend where the town itself is just as much a reason to visit as the festival.

Rain, Rain go away!!!!! Unfortunately, it’s looking like we have a few more rainy days keeping us inside.
So…..why not join me tonight for some games at the Clubhouse? We’ve got marbles, card games, ping pong, the pool table and darts!
