❤️Pupdate for the dumped pups❤️

Last 2 brothers were sent to a local rescuer.

There seems to have been 4, possibly 5 dumped pups! Due to Megan Wion and her dedication, 1 female (only female) was adopted by Lisa Mason-Shaver who is a good friend and rodeo family member, she named her Coal already! There was also another lady that stated she had found a female and decided to keep it.

That left 3 males, all brothers. 1 male was adopted, leaving 2 brothers. Megan Wion stepped up, didn't/couldn't go home because she has her own dominant dog.

Unfortunately, time ran out and the remaing 2 were accepted in a local rescue (NOT US)..

SO, long story made short: ALL PUPS ARE NOW SAFE thanks to Megion and her dedication!

‼️Dumped pups update - STILL URGENT‼️

Update from the finder who, she herself couldn't go home last night in order to keep the pups safe and secure. Here is her update:

"Update on the pups. I still have all 3. I spent the night at a friend's house last night so they wouldn't have to be outside. All 3 have great personalities. Very smart. Follow me around outside. Come when they are called. Get along with the senior dog in the house. Have not chewed anything up. I take them outside frequently to avoid accidents in the house and they do great. There was a women who commented on your post I've been sending her info on messenger. She doesn't get her letter for a service dog until Thursday, I can't keep them that long"

If ANYONE can foster or adopt a puppy I am sure Megan Wion would like to return home, she refuses to leave them out there alone. Her number is #: (530)776-7239 this is an URGENT MATTER, their lives depend on someone stepping up!

R***r is still looking for his perfect home! R***r is said to be an LGD mix (he does have the dew claws like an LGD and a coat like one. He is approx 6 months old and UTD on vaccines including Rabies. He is NOT fixed yet as our vet believes waiting until 2yrs old for these large breeds.

R***r is a fairly laid back guy. He enjoys his peace but does get along with a select few others. He definitely has the LGD personality and could possibly be trained as an LGD.

R***r came to us injured (said to have been kicked by a child). He has since rehabbed beautifully and ready for his own family.

There will be a nueter contract and a deposit with the vet of your choice. This will be REQUIRED.

Soldier (SoSo) needs his forever home! He is approx 10-11 months old, utd on all vaccines including Rabies. We did not run a DNA kit on him but do believe he is a boxer/cattle dog mix. He has the best personality and playful.

Soldier is one of my personal favorites (even though I try to not have favorites). He is another one i believe could be a good service dog or ESA. He is SO sweet and smart!

Soldier does well in playgroup, good recall, and one of the best boys. If I didnt have my own person dogs I would keep him, he is that sweet of a boy.

**He IS ALLERGIC to the Lepto vaccine so when getting started with your own vet this is VERY important to tell them! It will cause him to go into seizures- he CANNOT have the Lepto vaccine***

Auggy, the sweet little bottle baby that came in as an only survivor of his dumped litter. Auggy is a year old, upt on vaccines including Rabies, can be picky in playgroup and does best with female playmates (neutering will help curve this). He does play well with his friend Soldier who is also a male.

Auggy can be a handful sometimes if he is full of energy. We are working on not jumping up on people to say hi. He does require a "High energy" dog food (does best on Diamond) as he has had spouts of dropping weight, building it back up, dropping again until we put him on Diamond (our vet had suggested trying other foods is how we ended up landing on Diamond brand.

I feel that Auggy would make a GREAT Service dog (with training of course) or ESA. He adores his people, pays attention, is right by my side if outside and will climb in your lap if you allowed it😂. I try really hard not to have favorites but Auggy & Soldier are definitely my favorites.

Will add pictures including his puppy pictures and most recent.

Brick needs his forever home! He is approx 10-11 months old, fixed, utd on all vaccines including Rabies.

Brick is a fun boy! He is full of energy and friendly in play group. He shouldn't get much bigger and should stay under 40lbs full grown.

I will also post his DNA results here. LOW ADOPTION FEES!

This is Oak! Oak is a male, FIXED, pitbull youngster (6-9months old) is the last of the camp puppies we took in.

Oak needs a strong handler as he is built like a tank. He is a good, friendly boy in playgroup, has never offered to bite, is UTD on all vaccines including Rabies.

This boy really needs his own home! So sweet, absolutely loves people. I will say "NO SMALL CHILDREN" because of his strength. He would easily knock a young child down accidentally.

Please reach out if interested! LOW ADOPTION FEES!

‼️‼️Diamonds in the Rough Rescue ‼️‼️

This is currently our hay shed!

YES, mom is on a hay run as I type!
NO, no animal EVER goes without!

BUT....We could REALLY use some hay donations! Winter is right around the corner and I would LOVE to have this filled to the brim! We have a larger carport as well we can use for storage if by the grace of God we can get that much pulled together🙏.

Winter worries me to death this year! With 7 months of not working, very low but MUCH APPRECIATED paid "work from home" , burning through our savings, adoptions are WAY DOWN this year which is also scary dog wise (We are always in need of dog food for the pups STILL here with us).

IF by chance you know a hay grower, are a hay grower, have a neighbor down the street that sells hay......Then PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU, PLEASE consider a hay donation! ASK if they would like a tax write off from a 501c3 for a donation of hay!

So, again, please dont panic as 20 bales are on their way as I type and everyone was fed a good breakfast. We just REALLY need some help.

PS- We usually feed a grass hay, grass/alfalfa mix, alfalfa, and/or horse quality grain hay. ONLY request: please be HORSE quality, no stickers or weeds please.😊

Other ways to help:
*Accounts at Hawes Ranch and Farm Supply and Palo Cedro Feed.
*Delivery: PLEASE arrange with us before actual drop off to make sure pups/dogs are put up and someone is there. (530)410-8085 for Barbara Jones, my mom, as she is the one currently there.
*CAN pick up IF someone can load it - not preferred but can make it work.
*Venmo: ANGELMATTHEWS@DITRR (8893) mark "HAY"
*CashApp: $$AngelDITRR2022 mark "HAY"

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I love our villiage and appreciate ALL of you more than I can imagine can even say!

PSS- That is STRAW, Winter BEDDING, NOT food on the right.

‼️‼️DOG FOOD‼️‼️

We are still requesting donated dog food!

7 months of not working has burned through every penny of savings and then some. I have PT 3xWeek starting next week! THIS will be the test to see if I (ehhum...my body..) am ready to get back HOME and slowly get back to working again.

These pups are still growing! They are eating me out of house and home ( before I can ever get home)😭. These "pups (6-9months old now) go through 40lbs of dog food every 2 DAYS! DAYS PEOPLE, DAYS!

We are in a constant need for dog food! I will be writing into these dog food brands to see if they are interested in a tax write off donation but I HIGHLY DOUBT ANY will contribute. 😞

We are also always open for Hay donations for the 4 sanctuary horses, goats/sheep, and 1 filly available for adoption. We currently go through 20, 3-string grass hay bales ( #100- ), every 2 weeks.

I will list the ways to help for anyone new❤️:
❤️Gate/Porch drop off
❤️Pick up but would need help loading
❤️Online orders: 16847 Hawthorne Ave/Anderson (seems to work best for both parties but your choice of course)
❤️Accounts at Hawes Ranch and Farm Supply and Palo Cedro Feed
❤️Venmo: ANGELMATTHEWS@DITRR (8893) - PLEASE LABEL it "dog food" as we are also trying to gather building supplies/funds
❤️CashApp: $AngelDITRR2022 - PLEASE LABEL as above ^

I KNOW i sound like a broken record but until these pups get adopted out, its THIS villiage that allows them to be safe while still looking for forever homes. Had this been a shelter, none would be alive unless lucky enough to get picked amongst the other 50-100 dogs shelters have. So, THANK YOU!

PS- This picture is AI but what a dream huh?!

If anyone is tearing down/replacing decent, usable wooden fences PLEASE reach out!
**PLEASE NO ROTTEN BOARDS**

Diamonds in the Rough Rescue could use REALLY use it! We are gathering donated building materials for better winter shelters this year ( 3 for the goat/sheep area, 1 large one for Petie & SweetPea our sanctuary mini pigs, 1 single enclosed stall for an equine friend, that will be in a turnout, and a couple dog houses unless we can find large dog igloos).

PLEASE reach out: 501c3 TAX WRITE OFFS!

🛠IF you have a fencing company and need to offload some teardown materials that could be usable for such projects! OR if youd like to donate some fence work (need a solid roadside fence at some point)

👷‍♂️👷‍♀️*IF you own a construction company, we would GLADLY take your throw aways of wood, siding, screws, framing, sheetrock, roofing paper, shingles, etc.

🚜IF you are a farmer, livestock keeper, etc we could use some 8ft t-posts! If i had to randomly guess i would guess 25-30 posts are needed.

PLEASE share with your friends, family, coworkers, business partners, etc. ALL donations are a TAX WRITE OFF.

We REALLY need to get prepared for Winter. Last winter we moved in, in December, and had to throw up very temporary shelters that are now aged, falling apart, or non-existent.

PS- ALL HEAVY materials must be delivered or could pick up as long as someone can load it as I am not medically cleared to lift yet. 🫣

THANK YOU! Let's get these critters set up properly with nice warm, dry, shelters this year.

**YES-AI Pictures as I am not home yet😞, BUT i promise you I do NOT use AI for anything else. All the writing, spelling, and grammar errors....those are all mine😂

PS- We also need more dog food! These pups eat 40lbs every 2 days!! They are growing pups eating me out of house and home and I am not even home yet😭

I need get through this PT and get back home. Start PT 3xWeek this coming week- this is the test! IF I can get through 3 sessions a week and FUNCTION then I need to get back home.
