GW Men's Rowing

First race of the fall season goes off at 12pm.

This weekend we’re lining up for a scrimmage against our friends at the Potomac Boat Club.

Following the racing, we’re thrilled to welcome alumni back to the boathouse for a reception with the team.

The squad returns to the district this week to begin training for the 2025–2026 season.

All summer long, our athletes have been putting in the work, in the weight room, on the erg, and on the water to prepare for the upcoming campaign.

On Monday, after returning from Oak Ridge, the team gathered with Senior Oarsman Mark Peoples and his family for a special ceremony where he officially commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. We could not be more proud of Mark for his incredible accomplishments and the lasting impact he’s had on this team.

As we celebrate this milestone with Mark, we’re reminded that it’s not always about the rowing, but about the family we become along the way.
