Emory Valley Center

Emory Valley Center is proud to announce that we have been awarded a Phase I grant from Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee. This year, Trinity awarded $244,942 to 27 organizations across the region to support the planning of community health-related projects.

Nearly 70 proposals were submitted, with projects selected based on their impact and merit. Phase I funding will help organizations research, develop, and strengthen plans for initiatives that address important community needs and compete for Phase II implementation funding later this year.

We are honored to be among the organizations selected and look forward to advancing this important work in our community!

Emory Valley Center brings dragon boat race back to Oak Ridge Emory Valley Center hosts a dragon boat race at Melton Lake to raise funds for disability services in Oak Ridge.

Congratulations to Alex on graduating from the MAPs Program!

During his time in the program, Alex successfully completed 8 out of 11 milestones and will receive $4,000 in his ABLE account to recognize his achievements.

Alex made history as one of our first MAPs participants to independently use Uber transportation. He has also developed valuable independent living skills, including preparing his own meals. Beyond these accomplishments, Alex has become more outgoing, built meaningful friendships, and continues to grow in confidence and independence.

Alex, keep up the great work! We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to seeing what you achieve next.
