Butterfly Bakery

I’ve been quiet for a while here at Butterfly Bakery and I wanted to share why. The past few months have brought some big, unexpected turns for our family. I’m expecting a new little one, and this pregnancy has been much tougher than we anticipated. On top of that, I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and navigating treatment while pregnant means I’ll be stepping away from baking for quite some time.

I hope to one day come back to baking, but I do need to pause while I focus on my health, my family, and my baby. I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and kindness you’ve shown me and Butterfly Bakery over the nearly two years that I've been in business. I'm especially thankful for my regular customers who ordered week after week and kept me going.

I’ve missed you! 🍞

If you’re a regular customer, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been MIA this summer. The truth is, it’s been an unplanned break. With both kids home full-time, juggling summer life and the 3 day hands-on process of making sourdough just wasn’t happening.

I’ve been soaking up these wild, sweet days with my little ones and pressing pause on baking for a bit longer than expected. Thank you so much for your patience and continued support. It means the world. 💛

That said... I'm popping up for a bread drop this week!
If you'd like fresh sourdough for your 4th of July table, get your orders in by Wednesday. I have original sourdough, cheddar, jalapeno cheddar, and brown butter chocolate chip cookies on the menu.

Preorders for Thanksgiving are now open! I'm making super soft sourdough dinner rolls along with these adorable sourdough turkeys that make the perfect centerpiece. I also have fall scones available for a quick Thanksgiving breakfast. Pickup is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

I'm so excited to now offer sourdough English muffins! These are delicious toasted in the morning with a pat of butter. Like all of my other products, they're made with organic flour. Orders close tonight for pickup this Thursday!
