In alignment with Oak Ridge Schools’ weather closure, Brookside Learning Center will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 2. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to stay safe.

After assessing the current road conditions and monitoring the forecast for below freezing temperatures, Oak Ridge Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 2. All extracurriculars on ORS campuses are canceled today, Sunday February 1. Stay safe and warm.

Fall is just around the corner, and we thought it would be a perfect time to share what’s been growing at Brookside Learning Center in 2025 — along with our students’ bright imaginations!

Unfortunately, with additional snow showers in the forecast tonight and below freezing temperatures impacting driving conditions, BLC and Oak Ridge Schools will also be closed on Thursday, February 20.

BLC and Oak Ridge Schools will be closed Wednesday, February 19, due to potentially unsafe driving conditions.

Due to the ongoing hazardous road conditions, particularly in areas where many of our staff reside, both BLC and Oak Ridge Schools will remain closed on Monday, January 13. Thank you for your understanding.
