Congratulations to Brian Smart, our September Driver of the Month! Brian grew up around trucking and got his start hauling FedEx mail coast to coast with his dad. His favorite part of the job is being part of building something new and seeing the results when a project is complete. Brian also takes pride in being on time, saying he never wants to be late to anything—a mindset that makes him a dependable and valued member of the Clinch River team. Congratulations to Dawn Norman, our August Driver of the Month! Dawn is part of our Oak Ridge team and began her truck driving career with US Xpress, later buying her own truck and working as a long-haul contractor under their DOT. For Dawn, choosing truck driving was a natural fit—she wanted a career that kept her outside instead of cooped up in a building. Her favorite part of the job is exactly that: being out on the road and enjoying the freedom of driving. We appreciate Dawn’s dedication and the energy she brings to representing CRS. Congratulations to David Spoon, our July Driver of the Month! David got into truck driving because his uncle was a truck driver and inspired him to try it out. His first job was with Budweiser, but today he's an integral part of our Oak Ridge team. What David enjoys most about his work is the variety- every job has its own agenda, so no two days are the same. We’re proud to have David representing CRS and grateful for his dedication and hard work. Thank you, David!

Congratulations, Glen Randolph, for receiving the Driver of the Month award! Glen is part of our team in Oak Ridge and originally got into trucking because "it's just what his family did." He came up through the generations before him and was 19 when he got his first trucking job. He was driving a lil' ole gas tanker delivering diesel to the mines in New River. He tried to get out of trucking shortly after he got into it, and even retired from it at one point, but in his words, "it's just in my blood, I can't get out." We're happy he didn't leave the trucking world behind and are grateful to have him on our crew! Thank you for everything you do Glen!

Congratulations, Rickey Powell, for receiving April's Driver of the Month award! Rickey is from Rockwood, TN and has been driving trucks for 33 years. Impressively, he has yet to receive a ticket throughout all his time on the road (professionally and personally)! This is just one of the reasons why Rickey is consistently in the top performers when it comes to safety metrics. He's always early, focuses on safety, and enjoys working with everyone on the crew. Rickey, you are the ideal team member, and we appreciate all you do!
